I was also surprised by several subjects related to the EU.
1.- The subject about getting out of the euro zone is overwhelming for me, since I cannot imagine such scenario and the breakdown that the whole thing can cause in the banking system, the administration, the taxes and the recalculation of the debt for many individuals (real estate properties, leasing, mortgages…) and for the companies. Once in, never out I guessed when we entered.
2.- The subject of interfacing/dealing with people appointed by govts to be at the EU commission cabinets and their constant turnover makes me think that the inner structure of the EU should be redessigned, since the more complex subjects cannot be settled in a reasonable time and the way of interfacing based in lobbies forbids the common people to send their opinions and leaves them out of the political sight.
Well, I am still shocked by yesterday’s session!
